cookies and milk

Sunday night Luke and Ryan helped me make cookies and after getting ready for bed Luke and dad had cookies and milk in frozen mugs. These pics were too cute and Luke was so excited to be able to have cookies with his dad. I love these boys.

Miramar Air Show

This last weekend we went down to San Diego to hang out with the Christensen's and we went to the Miramar Air show. This was soooo fun. Luke had a blast every time a plane flew by he would clap his hands and there were a lot of planes going by. We had a blast and it is always great to hang out with good friends.

St. George

This is luke on our hike through Snow Canyon
and below is a lava tube.

The boys and the kids in the hot tube at the
Entrada house.
The gang hanging at the Plantation (Ryan's parents house)
Every year we take a trip with some good friends to Mammoth to go Snowboarding, but this year we decided with all the kids that it would be a little more fun to take a trip to sun and more activities for the kids to do. So here are a few pics from the trip to St. George. We stayed in this AWESOME house that my sister let us borrow.

Miracles do happen now and then, and one of them is going to be for me to start posting again. So much has happened since the last post, I will not bore you with that many pics. But a few must be shown from the summer trips.  This is us at the Monterey Bay Aquarium and Luke's cousin Kayla

Beach

We also went to the beach with the family here is Ryan with his parents and a cute pic of Ryan and Luke. I wouldn't say that he loved going in the water more that he was fascinated by it. He kept throwing things in the water. I am sure it will soon change and by the end of the summer he will be jumping in all by himself.

Disneyland

This last Thursday we had the opportunity to go to Disneyland with Ryan's sister and family and his parents. We had a great time even with all the extra work of going to Disneyland with about a million other people, way to crowded. Here are a few pics from the day.

Daddy

I am now called daddy, not mommy or mom or steph just daddy. At first I thought he was just missing his dad, but it is that I am daddy. I think it is for people he loves cause grammy is daddy too. At first I was sad that he would never say mommy, but now I think it is cute that he is calling me that.

My mom and I made cream puffs for my dads b-day and so Luke had to help out with sampling.

My Dad

This week I am posting from the cold state of Utah. I am here visiting my family and helped my dad celebrate his 65th birthday. Happy B-day Dad!

broken camera

Post have been kinda slow because we have no camera. Our camera has officially bit the dust. We are in the market for a new camera but can't make the final decision. So that means no new pictures for now on the blog, but here are a few older ones that are good. Sorry Luke you are going to have a month or two of no new pics.

walking

I love that Luke can walk. I don't know what people are saying when they say your life is going to get so hard once they (kids) can walk. Maybe they never had a kid as heavy as Luke. But one great thing about Luke walking is we love the park. Lucky for us the weather is good enough we go almost everyday. He can now go down the slide all by himself and loves to play in the sand too.

Can you believe it

This is actually happening folks, I am starting a blog. Ryan and I went to the first playoff game The Chargers vs The Titans. Of course the Chargers won, we had a blast. We got great seats, we were on the 10 yard line 10 rows back. We did a little tail-gating with James (my bro who has season tix). Thanks Chels and Paul for watching Luke. It was a sad day in the Blad home when the Patriots beat them, there is always next year. I thought this would be a fun first post. Mostly because the rest will be about Luke and not about Ryan and I.

I love this kid

Luke has become quite the little man. He is so fun to be around. His new obsession is phones and balls. He loves to talk to anyone on the phone. He says hi, uht oh, doggy, daddy, and even mommy once in a while. He loves to go on walks with his mom and play at the park with his friends. And most of all he loves playing with his dad!
